Lie Naked

This to me happen on October 30, 2009 at 1:30am... Just thought I would share this powerful message...


Last night I was getting ready for bed, while undressing I was completely naked with only my socks on. As usual the room was dark and I had soft gospel music playing in the back ground. Although I was alone in my room I was still uncomfortable being naked so I began searching for a big t-shirt to put on for bed and the Lord spoke to me. He said, "Perfect. That's what I like, nakedness." Now most people would read this and think that I have lost my mind and the Lord would never say anything like that...

but here's what the Holy Spirit explained...

You are in a perfect state right now. Complete nakedness, God's original intend for man, God's original intent for you. No phoniness, no nonsense, no cover-ups, just you and your maker. While you're completely naked you can't hide your imperfections, you can't wear the mask that you are use to wearing in front of the public eye. Your Father sees all, knows all, and loves all. Your Father love you through all your wrongs, rights, extra pounds and all. He wants you to do the same. No more hiding behind extra clothes, make-up, hair weaves, and fake smiles. Lie spiritually naked before your Creator, that's the way He created you, physically and spiritually pure and naked. When you humble yourself and stop running and hiding you can see the beautiful person He created and loves. Honor and worship Him by loving and taking care of the beautiful, unique, queen He call you to be.

(Genesis 2:25 says "The man and the woman were both naked, but they were not embarrassed.) When you come before the Lord, your God come completely naked. Hiding nothing from Him, and keeping nothing between you and your maker, because He sees all and knows all. So when you come before your creator, don't bring worldly things in the midst of a spiritual situation. Don't bring your fake smiles, fake accents, long drawn out, unmeaning full prayers, fake giggles and so on to God. He knows your pain, issues, and your desires. When you come, lie spiritually naked. If possible lie physically naked as well, so you can feel that closeness and awkwardness that comes from being physical naked before God. Do it until you feel comfortable and remember to never hide anything from God.
Clothes were made to hid our personal, private, secret, places that we don't want anyone to see in the public. (Read Genesis 3:7) Which is most of the time only shown in a small room in confidence to a select few.
